Juaben Municipal lies in the central part of the Ashanti Region, bordering Ejisu Municipal Assembly to the west, Afigya Kwabre South District to the north, Asante Akim Central Municipality to the east, and Bosome Freho District to the south. It covers a land area of 364,674 hectares (365 square kilometres), with a population density of 51 persons per square kilometre, and its terrain is generally undulating, with elevations ranging from 240 to 300 metres above sea level within the Atiwa-Atakpame mountain range. The Municipality's projected 2025 population is 71,920, with agriculture employing about 74 percent of households, making it predominantly agrarian. Juaben serves as the municipal capital and administrative centre.
